Devou Park Amphitheater, Covington, KY
The KSO ventures south of the border and to the land of sauerkraut and schnitzel to pair its own Mariachi group with a Bavarian Polka Band. Musical cultures collide as these groups will have the audience singing, dancing and shouting “Ziggy-zaggy, ziggy-zaggy, oi, oi, Olé.”
Program includes:
The Lonely Bull
Espana Cani
Guantanamera
Ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit
The Chicken Dance
Beer Barrel Polka
Admission is free. $5 contribution per person is encouraged but not required for entry at the bandshell.
Bring blankets, or lawn chairs. Food trucks will be on hand to serve up some tasty treats too! (Check the KSO’s Facebook page for which ones).
Free parking.
The TANK Shuttle will run from Covington Catholic High School to the band shell runs from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. and returns following the concert for $1 each way.
