2023-24 Series Volunteer Sign Up Form

  • Join the KSO as a volunteer for the 32nd anniversary season. Here’s what you need to know: • VOLUNTEER DUTIES: These include handing out programs, working the KSO merchandise or concession booth, helping patrons find seats, and ticket taking, etc. Tasks are assigned at check-in. To ensure the well-being of its musicians, staff, volunteers and audience members the KSO will continue to follow CDC and local health guidelines as they evolve. At present masks are not required. Attire: General rule dark on bottom, light on top. **KSO volunteers are extremely important for a successful concert experience!** If you are able to work at one or more of our concerts, please check the appropriate boxes below to indicate your commitment. We will count on you for each event you check. Be sure to jot these dates down in your calendar! You will receive a reminder call/email a day before to your scheduled dates.
  • Please bring any documentation you need signed with you when you volunteer. Alternatively, the KSO can provide a follow up email from the General Manager verifying your hours and jobs completed.

    If you are able to work at one or more of our concerts or other opportunities, please check the appropriate boxes below to indicate your COMMITMENT. We will count on you for each event you check (unless you are notified otherwise). Be sure to jot these dates down in your calendar! You will receive a reminder call/email a day before to your scheduled dates.
  • We need volunteers to help seat students — accompanying them from the bus to their seats. Nearly 50 schools will participate in the KSO free Education concerts this year. We need a lot of help for this concerts - so bring a friend!
  • For concerts at NKU please be in the lobby at 6:00 p.m. (Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.) For April concert please be at Basilica at 1 p.m. (concert starts at 2:30 p.m.)

  • Preparing letters for the annual giving campaign, at the KSO offices at 540 Linden Ave., Newport KY 41071. We will work from 9:30 to 4:00 pm. Feel free to work any 2 - 3 hour shift during on or both days.
