Join us at 7:00 p.m. May 17, 2013 for “Shake, Rattle and Soul” You are invited to “Shake Your Groove Thing” for the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the 19th annual Gala/FUNdraiser. “Shake Rattle & Soul” features four decades of R&B, soul and funk, sure to get even the most adamant wallflower movin’ and groovin’ on the dance floor. The special KSO evening has moved this year to a new month and a new, yet familiar, NKY venue — The Newport Syndicate. The party of the year includes cocktails, an elegant dinner, live music (by the KSO’s Boogie Band), dancing, a raffle and hip auction. The outdoor summer concerts in Devou Park and free Education Outreach series rely on the proceeds from the Gala, the KSO’s only annual fundraiser.
